I love deadlines. I especially love the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

I offer services in website design, website accessibility, custom software development and JAWS screen reader scripting. I don't provide pricing on this website because I prefer providing a cost estimate based on the project. Each clients' project is unique and I think pricing should reflect this. I prefer gathering information from a potential client on their project... enough to make some decision concerning whether I feel I can help them... then discussing the costs of the project. This approach ultimately saves both of us time and money.

Here are some factors you should consider before contacting me for services...

  • Know what you want, in as much detail as possible. If you don't know what you want, how can you expect me to?
  • Be able to convey your project in simple terms any person off the street can understand. I'll try to limit technical computer jargon that goes over your head, if you'll be so kind to oblige and do the same for me with your particular field of expertise.
  • It's your project - not mine. If you can't invest the time and effort to sit down, figure out what you want, then convey that information to me in simple terms, how can you expect me to help you? If you can't invest the time and effort to make yourself - or someone who can make decisions on your behalf - available to me during project development, how can you expect me to complete your project in a timely manner or within your budget?
  • Forget prototyping; that is, having me build something for you to look at and take apart in order to decide what you want. I subscribe to the "do it right the first time" approach - I don't like doing work more than once - I prefer "doing it right the first time". I've had nothing but success with this approach, and every project I've ever been involved with that doesn't follow this approach has ultimately turned into a dismal failure.

Services- Custom Software

Please note: At this time I handle custom software projects on a limited basis, and all custom software is developed exclusively for the Microsoft Windows platform.

Are you an individual or business that needs a custom software to solve a problem? Sometimes there's just no substitute for having a custom software designed to YOUR particular needs. Imagine the possibilities of YOUR custom software. Imagine custom software that works YOUR way. Imagine custom software that prints YOUR reports.

If you have a project in mind, then stop imagining and fill out the Project Request form and I'll get back to you with an availability and cost/time estimate. You should read some factors to consider before contacting me about project services.

Services- JAWS Scripts

Most software applications that weren't designed with accessibility in mind can be made easier to use by the blind or visually impaired with a good set of JAWS screen reader scripts. The script is basically a set of instructions that enable the JAWS screen reader to access previously difficult or inaccessible features of a software application, thereby making it easier and more productive for a JAWS user to use that software application. The scripting process, which is akin to a programming language, takes some time to learn and become proficient enough in to develop good scripts. That's where Thinkzo Systems enters the picture!

Are you a JAWS screen reader user with a software application that you wish was easier to use? Do you employ any blind or visually impaired persons that use the JAWS screen reader, and are having trouble with a core software application your business depends on?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, then Please fill out the Project Request form and I'll get back to you with an availability and cost/time estimate. You should read some factors to consider before contacting me about project services.
